Dos Trento

The classic Sunday afternoon tour, on the "Verruca" of Trento: a mix of historic and natural beauty, a stone's throw away from the city center
  • Start point: Piazzale Divisioni Alpine
  • Arrival point: Piazzale Divisioni Alpine

The proposed itinerary starts from Piedicastello and leads to Dos Trento, a small hilly landscape on the right bank of the Adige, from which you can admire a spectacular panorama of the city of Trento.

This green area is particularly important for its remarkable naturalistic value: numerous floristic species are present in the entire area, such as the Stipa capillata, the Onanis rotundifofolia, the Oputia vulgaris, and many others. From the faunistic point of view the hump has many interesting and characteristic species: hedgehogs, wild mice, weasels, beech martens, badgers and foxes, as well as numerous species of birds and reptiles.
