Think tank of the Network
The Think tank of the Network of Nature Reserves is composed of:
- the President of the Network of Nature reserves;
- a representative of the department, which is competent in matters of the conservation of nature
- the Coordinator of the Network
Provincial officials are designated by the departments to participate in the Think tank depending on the subject matter dealt with each session. The nominal identification of the aforementioned provincial officials takes place by means of a written request from the Subject in charge of the Network to each provincial Service competent in the subject matter.
Depending on the specific thematic relevance of each action/intervention, the Coordinator may invite other competences present on the territory to the meetings, which by way of non-exhaustive list are listed below:
- APT/ Tourist Consortia
- Provincial Nature Parks or Stelvio National Park
- TSM-School for the governance of territory and landscape
- MUSE/Foundation of the Rovereto Civic Museum
- Edmund MACH Foundation
- SAT- Society of Alpinisti Tridentini
- Ecomuseums
The Think tank carries out these functions and tasks:
- provides advice and carries out technical feasibility checks on proposals drawn up by Network structures or appointed consultants
- advises on matters of conservation and active protection of protected areas, sensitive, vulnerable or rare species and habitats
- advises on the coordination of projects falling within the territory of the Network
- activates the Local Participatory Forum
- verifies the technical, administrative and economic feasibility of the proposals and ideas elaborated by the Forum
The Think tank is summoned by the President.
The members of the Think tank and the experts are not entitled to any remuneration for their advice and/or participation in the meetings.
