Sardagna - The chestnut trail

An exciting tour through chestnut forests, woods, meadows and ancient terraced fields

The proposed itinerary starts from Sardagna and offers a circular tour through beautiful chestnut forests, also favouring beautiful views of the Adige Valley.

This green area is particularly important for its remarkable naturalistic value. It is interesting the presence of centuries-old chestnut trees, hazels, hornbeams, Scotch pines, beeches and field maples, which are home to numerous animal species.
